About the role:

You will also:

• Lead and coach the used vehicle sales team, building your leadership skills in a hands-on environment with experienced colleagues around you
• Take ownership of stock acquisition, pricing, and inventory, developing your commercial instincts with support from senior management
• Drive department performance against volume and profitability targets, with your results recognised and rewarded
• Collaborate with the finance and insurance team to deliver a seamless end-to-end customer experience
• Monitor local market trends and competitor activity, sharpening your strategic thinking in a competitive region
• Report on department activity to senior leadership, building visibility and credibility across the business

About you:

You have made your mark in automotive sales, and you are ready to lead, even if a management title is still a step ahead of where you are today.

More about you:

• A solid track record in used vehicle or automotive sales, with a hunger to do more than hit your own targets
• Early experience guiding or mentoring others, whether formally or informally
• A good grasp of used car valuations and what drives strong stock turn
• A current Queensland motor dealer licence or eligibility to obtain one
• Strong communication skills and a natural ability to build trust with customers and teammates
• A growth mindset, you welcome feedback and see every challenge as a chance to improve
