Frizelle Sunshine Automotive is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join the Used Vehicles team at our Tweed Heads location on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the role

This role puts you at the centre of the used vehicle operation, where your decisions directly shape team performance, customer outcomes, and business results.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Leading, coaching, and developing a sales team so that every consultant has the tools and support to reach their potential
• Managing the used vehicle inventory to ensure the right stock mix is available to meet customer demand
• Setting and monitoring sales targets, giving you clear visibility of your team's progress and the ability to act quickly when it matters
• Building strong relationships with customers at key moments in the sales process, reinforcing a culture of trust and transparency
• Working closely with the dealer principal and wider management team to contribute to broader dealership goals
• Overseeing vehicle appraisals and trade-in valuations, where your expertise adds immediate value to each transaction

About you

You are someone who leads by example, knows the used car market well, and gets genuine satisfaction from helping a team succeed.

More about you:

• Proven experience in automotive sales management, ideally with a focus on used vehicles
• A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets through team leadership rather than individual effort alone
• Strong skills in stock management, appraisals, and understanding market pricing
• A current driver's licence and, where required, a motor dealer's licence or equivalent
• Clear, confident communication that works equally well with customers and colleagues
• Familiarity with dealer management systems and a comfort with reporting and performance data
