About the role

As the central point of contact between technicians, service advisors, and customers, you will play a key part in keeping the workshop organised, efficient, and delivering results every day.

You will also:

• Allocate and schedule work across the workshop to keep jobs moving and technicians productive
• Monitor job progress throughout the day and step in to resolve delays before they affect customers
• Work closely with service advisors to keep customers informed and expectations managed
• Support quality control by reviewing completed work before vehicles are returned
• Contribute to a workshop culture where safety, teamwork, and doing the job right matter
• Use your experience to mentor and guide technicians, building a stronger team around you

About you

You are someone who thrives on organisation, communicates clearly under pressure, and understands what it takes to run a high-performing service operation.

More about you:

• Hands-on experience in an automotive service workshop, ideally in a controller or senior advisory role
• A current mechanic trade qualification or strong technical background
• Confident managing workflow and priorities across a team of technicians
• Clear communicator who can work well with both technical staff and customers
• Comfortable using dealer management systems to track jobs and workshop output
• A current Australian driver's licence
