You'll play an important role in ensuring the right parts are identified, sourced and available when needed—helping keep customers, Technicians and the wider dealership moving.

About the Role

As a Parts Interpreter, you'll be responsible for accurately identifying, sourcing and supplying parts for customers, Technicians and the Service department. You'll build strong relationships with internal teams, suppliers and customers while maintaining efficient parts operations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interpret parts requirements and accurately identify the correct components
• Supply parts to the Workshop and Service departments in a timely manner
• Assist customers with parts enquiries and provide professional service
• Source and order genuine and aftermarket parts where appropriate
• Liaise with suppliers regarding availability, pricing and delivery
• Maintain accurate parts records, stock levels and ordering systems
• Receive, check and store incoming parts and process relevant documentation
• Monitor backorders and follow up outstanding parts
• Assist with stock control, inventory management and regular stocktakes
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe Parts department
• Support the team to achieve departmental targets and deliver excellent service

About You

We're looking for a customer-focused and organised Parts professional who understands the importance of accuracy, product knowledge and timely service.

You'll Bring:

• Previous experience as a Parts Interpreter within an automotive dealership
• Strong automotive parts knowledge and understanding of dealership processes
• Previous experience with Pentana Solutions is highly desirable
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer literacy and experience with dealership systems
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Professional presentation and a positive, can-do attitude
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Audi or European vehicle experience will be highly regarded
