About the opportunity:

This role is responsible for overseeing workshop quality standards, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standard and support continuous improvement initiatives. 

Key responsibilities;

• Oversee daily workshop operations and drive technician productivity
• Prioritise and allocate repair orders to ensure efficient turnaround times
• Provide technical guidance and support on complex repairs and diagnostics
• Liaise with the Service Advisor team regarding additional repair recommendations
• Ensure repair orders, documentation, and warranty processes are completed accurately
• Maintain workshop standards across safety, cleanliness, tooling, parts flow, and quality control

About you:

You will have;

• A minimum 5 years’ automotive trade experience with relevant qualifications (MVTC essential)
• Previous experience as a Workshop Foreman or Controller highly regarded
• A current driver’s licence (additional licences such as ARC, ASCIS or AUVIS advantageous)
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and time management capabilities
• A commitment to WHS practices with a proactive safety-first approach
• Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a team-focused environment
