Mazda with Hyundai as a secondary brand, is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technician to join our Workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys complex diagnostics and is ready to provide technical leadership while supporting the wider workshop team.

About the Role

As a Senior Technician, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs across our Mazda and Hyundai vehicles, while supporting workshop performance and developing less experienced technicians.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and complex diagnostics
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
• Completing repairs to manufacturer standards and specifications
• Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and identifying additional repairs
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to fellow Technicians
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
• Maintaining accurate job cards and service documentation
• Working efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets
• Supporting a safe, clean and professional workshop environment
• Collaborating with Service Advisors and the wider dealership team

About You

We’re looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technician who can lead by example and is passionate about delivering exceptional workmanship.

You’ll bring:

• Relevant automotive trade qualification
• Significant experience as an Automotive Technician
• Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic capabilities
• Advanced fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Ability to mentor and support less experienced Technicians
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Excellent time management and organisational skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Professional attitude and strong work ethic
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Mazda, Hyundai or Japanese/Korean vehicle experience is highly regarded
