About the role:

This is a hands-on role where your technical ability directly shapes the experience customers have with their vehicles and with Frizelle Sunshine Automotive.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Carrying out logbook servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostic work across a range of vehicle makes and models, keeping your skills broad and current
• Identifying and communicating additional vehicle needs clearly, giving you visibility in the workshop and building trust with customers
• Completing work accurately within allocated timeframes, so your efficiency is recognised and rewarded
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and well-organised workbay that reflects the standard you set for yourself
• Collaborating with the wider Service team to resolve complex faults, with support available when you need it

About you:

You are a qualified Technician who takes ownership of your work and is ready to grow within a structured, supportive dealership environment.

More about you:

• A recognised Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification
• Proven experience in a dealership or automotive service environment
• Solid diagnostic and fault-finding ability across mechanical and electrical systems
• A current, valid driver's licence
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to getting the job right the first time
• Good communication skills that help you work well with both colleagues and customers
