About the role

Working within a well-equipped body shop, you will play a key part in restoring vehicles to a standard that customers can be proud of, with the support of an experienced team behind you.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Preparing vehicle surfaces through sanding, filling, and priming, giving you full ownership of quality from start to finish
• Mixing and matching paints to achieve accurate colour results, sharpening a skill that sets great spray painters apart
• Applying top coats and clear coats to manufacturer specifications, so every vehicle leaves the shop looking its best
• Identifying and correcting surface imperfections before and after painting, building your eye for detail with every job
• Working alongside a collaborative Service team where your contribution is visible and recognised
• Following workplace health and safety procedures that keep you and your colleagues safe every day

About you

You are a trade-qualified Spray Painter who finds real satisfaction in a job done properly, and you are ready to bring that standard to a dealership environment.

More about you:

• A completed qualification in Automotive Refinishing or a related trade is essential
• Proven experience in spray painting within a panel shop or dealership setting
• Solid colour-matching ability, whether working with waterborne or solvent-based systems
• A reliable approach to meeting turnaround times without cutting corners on quality
• Current driver's licence
• A team-oriented attitude and clear communication with supervisors and colleagues
