About the opportunity:

This isn’t a back-office management role, it’s your chance to lead from the front in one of the fastest-growing sectors in automotive. You’ll inspire and elevate a high-performing sales team, craft exceptional customer experiences, and take the reins on stock and pricing strategy to maximise commercial impact in a high-energy dealership environment.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the following:

  • Establish, monitor and ensure long and short term sales and gross profit objectives for both the department and individual sales team are met
  • Continuing ongoing focus on stock management in keeping with group policy and to maximise ROI
  • Mentoring and coaching sales team
  • Set clear standards to ensure superior customer experience.
  • Monitor and act on business management information and other key performance indicators to optimise used vehicle performance and profit opportunities

With a track record of exceeding sales targets and an instinct for delivering exceptional customer experiences, you thrive in fast-paced environments and know how to turn momentum into results.

You will demonstrate:

  • Strong leadership qualities in automotive or used vehicles industries
  • Outstanding negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to set goals and targets and lead your team to success
  • Knowledge of motor dealership systems, Pentana and Dealer Socket will be an advantage
  • Effective people management capabilities
  • Ability to work under pressure and with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation
  • Relevant industry or tertiary qualifications highly regarded
