About the opportunity:
This isn’t a back-office management role, it’s your chance to lead from the front in one of the fastest-growing sectors in automotive. You’ll inspire and elevate a high-performing sales team, craft exceptional customer experiences, and take the reins on stock and pricing strategy to maximise commercial impact in a high-energy dealership environment.
The successful candidate will take ownership of the following:
- Establish, monitor and ensure long and short term sales and gross profit objectives for both the department and individual sales team are met
- Continuing ongoing focus on stock management in keeping with group policy and to maximise ROI
- Mentoring and coaching sales team
- Set clear standards to ensure superior customer experience.
- Monitor and act on business management information and other key performance indicators to optimise used vehicle performance and profit opportunities

You will demonstrate:
- Strong leadership qualities in automotive or used vehicles industries
- Outstanding negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Ability to set goals and targets and lead your team to success
- Knowledge of motor dealership systems, Pentana and Dealer Socket will be an advantage
- Effective people management capabilities
- Ability to work under pressure and with stakeholders at various levels of the organisation
- Relevant industry or tertiary qualifications highly regarded
