We are looking for a Heavy Vehicle Technician to join the Service team at our Isuzu Trucks dealership in Arundel on a permanent, full-time basis.

About the role:

Working exclusively on Isuzu Trucks, you will develop deep brand expertise while tackling a broad range of mechanical and diagnostic work that keeps commercial customers' fleets moving.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Performing scheduled servicing, mechanical repairs, and fault diagnosis across the Isuzu Trucks range, building specialised knowledge that is genuinely valued in the industry
• Conducting detailed vehicle inspections and health checks, giving you full visibility of each unit and the confidence to recommend the right course of action
• Accurate job card and warranty documentation, ensuring your work is properly recorded and claims are processed without unnecessary delays
• Working with Isuzu-specific diagnostic tools and technical service information, expanding your capability with every job
• Collaborating closely with Service Advisors to keep commercial customers informed and their downtime to a minimum
• Upholding workshop safety standards and manufacturer procedures, contributing to a culture where every team member finishes the day safely

About You:

You are a trade-qualified Heavy Vehicle Technician who takes ownership of your work and is ready to grow your expertise within a respected truck dealership.

More about you:

• A current Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent trade qualification
• Solid hands-on experience servicing and repairing heavy vehicles in a dealership or fleet workshop environment
• Confidence using electronic diagnostic equipment and interpreting technical data accurately
• A current Queensland open drivers licence, including the ability to move heavy vehicles safely on site
• Strong attention to detail, because commercial customers depend on repairs being completed correctly the first time
• A team-oriented approach, contributing to a workshop where collaboration and mutual support are part of the everyday culture
