About the opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a highly skilled Diagnostic Technician to join the expert team at Mercedes-Benz, Mosman.

This role is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys advanced diagnostics, complex fault finding, and working with the latest Mercedes-Benz technology. You'll play a key role in delivering premium workmanship and supporting our commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics across the Mercedes-Benz passenger and van range.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults with precision and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with Mercedes-Benz Australia to resolve technical issues and implement manufacturer solutions.
  • Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and repair time guidelines.
  • Conduct road tests and quality inspections to achieve a strong first-time fix rate.
  • Mentor and support fellow technicians while continually developing your technical expertise through ongoing manufacturer training.

About you

You'll be a technically accomplished Automotive Technician who enjoys solving challenging faults and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

You'll bring:

  • A qualified Automotive Technician trade certification (essential).
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a senior technician or diagnostic role.
  • Exceptional diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
  • A current Australian Driver Licence.
  • The ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative workshop environment.
  • Previous Mercedes-Benz or premium automotive brand experience will be highly regarded.
